Huang Wei Industrial Co. was founded by five shareholders, each contributing NT$100,000 in startup capital. The company began operations in a renovated tin-roof structure converted from a former pigsty, specializing in aluminum alloy welding and establishing a strong technical foundation in precision welding.

In response to rapidly increasing OEM demand, the company leased a larger facility and expanded its workforce to 20 employees. The shareholder structure was adjusted during this period. Huang Wei also began collaborating with bicycle frame manufacturers, providing professional aluminum frame welding services.
